Praman means proof.
The word praman means proof, or evidence. That is the entire job of this product: to produce trustworthy, tamper-evident proof that an organisation is handling personal data and infrastructure the way Indian law requires.
Why we built it
Consent-management tools already exist. What did not was the infrastructure-and-AI layer: jurisdiction and egress monitoring, PII detection inside AI pipelines, retention enforcement on real systems, and provable audit trails for data-centre operators and the enterprises hosted on Indian sovereign cloud. With the DPDP Rules notified and full compliance due by May 2027, that gap became urgent.
Our principles
- ▹Region-safe by construction. No component requires a foreign-hosted service — the product's own thesis.
- ▹Advisory, not enforcing. We observe, verdict, log and draft. We never block traffic or auto-send notifications.
- ▹Evidence over assertion. No status without a traceable, immutable reason.
- ▹Tooling, not legal advice. The obligation library is yours to amend with counsel.
